After millions of years of evolution, Octopuses have turned out very differently. For one thing, they have lost their external shells.
What's left is a mass of unprotected tasty meat. Any sea creature big enough to eat an octopus will eagerly do so.
One of the ways Octopuses survive against such odds is their mastery of the art of camouflage.

This is very beautiful and unusual.
Two octopuses, one on each side, have their 8 arms all over a huge freshwater pearl. The pearl is raw so the size and shape vary but generally, it is around an inch long and 3 quarter inch wide.
People will notice your ring firstly from the size of the pearl. They will then get curious about the 'things' holding the pearl. This is when you reveal the octopuses to surprise them!

Camouflage is about disguising oneself to be unnoticed and blend with the
environment.
An animal can use camouflage to look like some other object. Example: a grasshopper mimics a leaf.
Octopuses take the art of camouflage to a whole new level. They gauge the surroundings and transform their body shape, pattern, color, brightness and even lift flaps of skins to change the texture of their bodies to resemble rocks and plants!
This is beyond camouflage and enters the realm of shapeshifting. Some even shapeshift to scare off predators! Such abilities are not found in any other animal.
